Someone's Engaged.....

Congrats to Nat's brother and my son, Ed and Marilyn on their engagement!   Guess the Pluskotas will be helping to plan a wedding!  Woot...exciting indeed!

Four More Days Left.....

Four More Days Left.....need an end of the year tax deduction??   Please consider Natalie and supporting her pro tennis career!

Poor Natalie, had to have three wisdom teeth pulled last Friday.  Unfortunately, she still isn't doing well.  Went for her post op visit today, she left in tears from the pain.  Prayers that tomorrow will be a pain free day!

Tennis update.....we are supposed to leave for Florida next week.  Hopefully, Natalie will be able to get on a practice court prior to us leaving.  Or we may need to rethink our schedule.  She is to play in Palm Harbour (near Clearwater) starting Jan 6th.  The following week, it will be onto Port Saint Lucie (above Jupiter).  I will update the blog once decisions are made.

Let Natalie be your "last minute" tax deduction.  Let me start by saying we are so very thankful for all of the continued support of Natalie's strive for success on the pro circuit.  Whether you have sat in the stands cheering, agree to meet at 7 a.m. for a warm up, cooked her a meal, let her crash in a bed or sent her a check.  It all matters, and she could not be pursuing her dream without any of it.

As many of you know, tennis is not like other sports.  Natalie did not sign a contract and receive a "signing check", she does not receive a weekly pay check.  She has to pay her way in this sport of tennis until she successful, only then she will get the "big" sponsorships and a pay check.

So again, we come to you for your support.  Please consider making an end of the year gift to Natalie to help kick off her 2013 season and quest to play at the 2013 U.S. Open.  Please check with your accountant to see how you can benefit from such a gift.....may help both of you out!

Bryan Bros at the Aussie Wild Card Event

On Friday, Natalie and I went to watch some of the Australian Open Wild Card Event.  Our focus of the day was to watch her coach (Jason) play doubles against the Bryan Brothers.  Being the featured match of the evening, the Bryans would face different double teams that consisted of "club pros" or college players.
