The other night, Natalie wanted pasta. So as we do in every city, we Internet search Italian restaurants. The results were Papa Johns, Lil Ceasers and Pizzza Hut. Must say we laughed for bout 10 minutes then ate Japanese. Which was very good.
Anyway....onto tennis. Yesterday, Natalie cruised through the first set. In command and dictating by implementing what she has been working in in training. Was exciting to watch.
The the second set.....ugh. Her opponent Zhang (CAN) did the ole junior tennis thing and took a bathroom break. Then we were off to the races for the second set. Zhang came out of the stall wanting the set. Totally changing her game plan seem to be working for Natalie found herself down 3-4. Remembering how she got the first set so easily, Natalie took control and went up 6-5. But Zhang would gallop back to make it 6 all. Yay a breaker... My FAV!!!! Woot!
Going up 2 love, Natalie seemed on a roll. That is until she found herself down 3-2. Battling for the finish line we were at 7 all. Then you could see Zhang's spirit break and Natalie smelling victory. Staying in control and dictating, Natalie hit winners for the match.
She is headed for the court currently to play fellow American Juekeng. So, let me go watch the bouncing yellow ball so I can up date you later.
