For the past few days Natalie has been on the practice courts, waiting for the main draw to begin. Which it did today, but not her. She will begin play in both the singles and dubs main draws tomorrow. In singles she will face Yureka Sema (JPN), who is currently ranked 202 in the world. Nat has not faced this opponent in the past. However, Natalie has faced her sister in dubs in Portland. Speaking of dubs, Yureka and her sister Ereka will face our team tomorrow. They are tourney ranked 345. Our team is tourney ranked 335. I'm sure it will be good dubs, although after what I witnessed in Portland, will probably be drama driven.
Don't forget that I posted the link to the tourney site in a previous blog entry. Please feel free to follow the live scores and or video feed. Not sure at this point if our matches will be on video feed, but may know that today.
Below is the video I put together of some of the memories of the tournament and people of Yakima, Washington. They are always wonderful hosts and run a great tourney! Thank you Yakima!
