More of the Bouncing Lil Yellow Ball

Good Evening from what was a sunny evening and sorta warm.  Very happy to be able to say that and to have seen the sun.  A very long time coming.  We continue to send prayers to those north of us that have suffered due to this storm.  God Bless all involved!

The lil yellow ball was very busy today.  Catching up the rained out matches from yesterday.  And the start of the doubles.  Our team was off today, thank goodness.  Caroline came into town last night, after a long day in Charleston.  She made it to the finals but unfortunately the other part of the draw didn't come along that far.  What a screwed up tourney.

Natalie practiced a couple of times today and hung out with friends.  Her and Caroline had a very long and productive practice.  We made our way to the player party for dinner.  Stayed to watch the exhibition match for a few.  Must say was a lil disappointed that they decided to feature four male players instead female players.  I mean this is a ladies tournament.

Tomorrow we WILL see the sun and more of the bouncing lil yellow ball.  Tis time it will be on Natalie's doubles court.  Our team will play not before 14:00 p.m.  Which of course is code for 2ish.  The opponents are Martina Frantova(SVK) and Alexandra Perper (MDA).  Perper graduated from Mississippi State and Frantova is currently at NC State.  Should be a good match of doubles.  Here is the link to the live scoring:
