Back in the Saddle again.....

We arrived at the courts by 8:45 a.m. yesterday, left them at 8:45 p.m.  Having spent the better amount of those hours outside, we were drained and worn out.  Natalie started the day by winning her singles match 7-5, 6-2.  Her and Liz always have a good battle on the court.  Nat seems to have found her groove for she is really playing well.  Onto the Round of 16 on Thursday, to play the two seed.

After a two hour break and half sandwich for lunch, Nat headed to the doubles court.  Her and Jackie are "back in the saddle again".  They just "clicked" along through their match, winning it 6-1, 6-0.  After which Natalie insisted on a huge meal prior to the pro am.  So, we mad dashed to Texas Roadhouse where she ate.....4 rolls, sirloin smothered in cheese and mushrooms, salad and baked potato.  Yep, I'm thinking that the gal was hungry....hahahah.... poor thing was only able to have a half sandwich due to kitchen issues at the place we were having lunch.

On completion of watching Nat finish her "snack" we headed back to the club for a six o'clock start for the pro am.  For the third year in a row, the Tennis West Club did a great job with this event.  The pros and the ams had a great time.  Finally leaving the club at 8:45,  our gal was ready to pass out and did by 9:15 p.m.

Pro Am pictures will be forthcoming.....here is a taste of the entertainment for the evening....

.....just so you know, this video doesn't do them justice.....they are an awesome group, talented!
