Doubles in North Carolina

Today, Natalie and Elizabeth will play the quarterfinal match against Muhamed/Will, the one seeds.  Should be a match of great doubles for all four players are very talented.  Of course being the bias mother that I am, "our team" will prevail and will see a second dubs match today.

Yesterday's dubs match against Willkins/Whitehead seemed uneventful and quick.  Two younger players with a great future ahead on the tennis court.  Pluskota/Lumpkin were able to win 6-1, 6-0.

After the match, Natalie found her way over to NC State for a treatment from an old friend.  Poor Nat's body is still suffering after that bad fall on the courts in Florida.  So, she call Casi (otherwise known to us....CasDog) was the best athletic trainer Natalie had at UT.  She always put the athlete first wether that was to run to fill up a water bottle, or the dozens of trips to a doctor's office.  Casi was there to make sure it was done right for the athlete, never putting herself first.  Casi truly defines the role of a care giver....an athletic trainer!  We are so thankful Casi was and is in our lives and still remains dear to our hearts.

As for me, the leg is still on ice and annoying....hopefully a means to an end.  Looking forward to hearing all bout today's doubles and the lil yellow bouncing ball....until then....Love and Blessings....Sherry!
