Greetings from El Paso, Texas and the Hunts USTA 25k Women's Pro Tennis Classic. Natalie will begin main draw play tomorrow at 10 a.m. Her opponent is Liz Juekeng (USA) (754). Nat has played Liz a few times, the last she was the victor.
Doubles play will begin for Natalie as well. She and Jackie Cako will partner up. Jackie just finished up at NCAAs and flew in to play dubs with Nat. They will play the qualifying team of Diana Ospena and Alexsondra Parra. A fellow American team who is tournament ranked 2171. Our third seeded team is tourney ranked 368. They will play dubs third on after ten which is code for.....3ish.
I'm excited to say that my knee rehabbing is going well but slow. However, I'm very excited to be able to make this trip with Natalie. We always enjoy this tournament and the people of El Paso. Looking forward to seeing Donna, Charlie, John and so many others. And let's not forget the fabulous food, they definitely spoil us with homemade Mexican food.
