Said a Lil Prayer

The good news.....Natalie got into the qualifier draw....WOOT!  She will play the fifth seed, Myrtille Georges of France.  The match time is not before 1:30 p.m.....with the time change...that is code for 7:30ish Georgia time.  Here is the link to live scoring:

Nat will team up with fellow American Allie Kiick.  Who you may remember played Townsend in the quarter finals in Indian Harbour....winner taking home a French Open Wild Card.  Kiick didn't win the wild card, for Townsend was on fire, but it was a good match.  Anyway....she and Natalie will team up for the first time.  They should make a good pairing!

Today, our gal practiced on the red clay three different times.  And then checked into the tourney.  After all of which, showered then we walked around town for a place to eat.  Nothing like a good old fashion burger and fries I'll tell you.   Then we stopped at the local church, which was amazing.  Was able to light a candle and said a lil prayer for my mom (our nana) for Mother's Day.

The name of the church was Collegiale St. Pierre at St. Gaudens.  Here is the brief history of the church from Wikipedia:

The Collegiate Church of St. Peter and St. Gaudens, with its cloister and chapter house, this was one of the most important religious buildings in the Comminges. It was home to a college of canons ordinary, a community founded by Bishop Bertrand. The 11th century romanesque church, built on the typical Pyrenean plan as a basilica with a nave and two aisles, stands on the site of an earlier construction. It was extended in the 12th and 13th centuries with the construction of the cloister and chapter house. The lateral north door was added in the 16th century.
